About Us
Since 1968, Students Scientific Society has touched the lives of medical students and the SSS magazine has been an integral part in this journey.
The SSS magazine has passed through many phases and had its highs and lows. It started in 1968 by a group of students who wished to publish the latest achievements and ideas in medicine. At this time, it was really hard as the students did not have many tools and did most of tasks in the process manually.
Over the years, the magazine started to get printed in color with each issue discussing an important and common medical topic.
Then the magazine was maintained online on the SSS website under the name “MedHead”.
On 2018, the magazine became rebranded and changed its name to “MedPulse” by Nada Kholeif (Editor) and an enthusiastic and talented team members. It pursued different goals to be more in congruency with those of the Students Scientific Society.
Our core values are to make the medical students have the ultimate medical experience by gaining knowledge in different medical topics. And also to help students achieve balance and have fun doing what they love by meeting new people and affecting peoples’ lives.
