Our main goal was and will always be its future doctors, their progression, development and broadening their horizons through its activities and opportunities supported by its affiliation to International Federation of Medical Students' Association (IFMSA).
HISTORY AND FOUNDERS
(SSS booth in Cairo University campus - May 1971)
The students’ scientific society (SSS) was founded by a group of enthusiastic medical students from Kasr Al Ainy faculty. This group was led by Dr. Ahmed Said who had the vision of resuscitating the sad feelings which reigned in the scientific community after the 1967 war.
The mission of SSS emphasized a non-political, non-secular and non-profit organization whose goal is to encourage and enhance the scientific skills of medical students. This spirit spread like fume to other medical students in Egypt and the known SSS spearheaded the membership of the international federation for medical student association (IFMSA).
