If Corona Virus has done to us one good deed, it has highlighted the power of medicine and our need for competent medical care workers.


Doctors and medical care workers have always been a necessity throughout civilizations. Dating back to Ancient Egypt, Imhotep, the chief minister to King Djoser in the 3rd millennium BCE and the god of medicine, was the first physician in recorded history.* Yes, the first physician was from Egypt and it started from there till now.


Choosing a career is one of the most life changing decisions one can take. And we have to take it at a somewhat young age. That is why many people make career shifts midway through their lives, as they have learned more about themselves and created new experiences.


One way to make a correct decision is to try to experience and get involved in asking and even participating with people in different fields to find your calling. This article is for the people who are considering the field, the ones in their first years and the ones who are midway maybe starting a new phase and in doubt of their decision.
